南京高等师范学校教育专修科与中国教育系科的奠基

摘  要:1918年设立的南高师教育专修科,是中国教育学科在制度层面的基石。与同时期的北高师教育专攻科和武昌高师教育补修科相比,南高师教育专修科在师资、课程及制度等各方面都有着鲜明的美国色彩。其师资以留美归国教育学者为主;课程组织制度打破年级制和课程标准制,采用选科制;开女禁,招收中国第一批教育学科女生。教育专修科的三班学生随着南高师及东南大学教育科的各项引领潮流的活动,在教育研究各领域翻译书报、著文立说,日后成为教育学研究的中坚力量。南高师教育专修科在选科制、开女禁及人才储备方面对教育系科建制有着奠基作用。The Education Section in Nanjing Higher Normal School, established in 1918, is the institutional cornerstone of China’s education discipline. Compared with the Education Special Training Course in Beijing Higher Normal School and the Supplementary Education Department in Wuchang Higher Normal School in the same period, the Education Section in Nanjing Higher Normal School had distinct American style in terms of teachers, curriculum and institution. The teachers were mainly scholars that got educated in the United States. The curriculum system changed to course selection system instead of the traditional grade system and curriculum standard system. The section lifted the ban on female’s right to education and recruited China’s first batch of female students of education discipline. Following the Education Discipline of Nanjing Higher Normal School and the National Southeast University, the three classes of students translated books and newspapers and wrote articles in the fields of educational research, becoming the backbone of pedagogy research in the future. The Education Section of Nanjing Higher Normal School played a fundamental role in the establishment of education department in terms of course selection system, lifting the ban on female’s right to education and talent reserve.
