摘  要:表达的流利性是评价口语水平的重要指标之一,具体分为时间性、语言、表达性以及连贯性四个分项指标。通过选取六名不同水平专业学生的朗读比赛录音,经指标量化后发现,时间性指标在不同水平学生朗读评价中不存在显著差异,即比赛中学生的语速及停顿对最后的朗读成绩并不起决定性作用。然而,语速、发声时间比、平均停顿长等小项与评价者对朗读者个人评价某些方面显著相关。由此可见,朗读不仅能够反映朗读者的口语水平,而且在单模态条件下,无形中影响了听者对朗读者个人的评价。Fluency in expression,one of the important indicators to evaluate the proficiency of spoken English,is composed of four sub-indicators:temporal variable,language variable,expressive variable and consistency variable.In the qualification of variables gained from reading performances in a competition by six English majors of different language levels,it is found that there is no significant differences in the reading evaluation between students of different levels;in other words,speech rates and pauses in reading performance do not play a decisive role in scoring.However,sub-items such as speech rates,sounding time ratio and average pause length are significantly related to some aspects of an evaluator’s personal assessment of a reader.Therefore,it can be inferred that reading aloud not only reflects a reader’s oral proficiency,but also affects a listener’s personal judgment of a speaker in a single modal situation.
