《中国历史文选》:一本教材和一门课程的传承

摘  要:中国大陆高校历史系的教师讲授“中国历史文选”,大多依托周予同先生主编的《中国历史文选》。与这一教材密切相关的还有在复旦大学历史学系开设的同名课程,教材编纂有许多引人入胜的故事,而故事里还套着一组课程讲授的情节。本文尝试在前一篇《经典创造与学术传统》分析论证的基础上,以更生动有趣、更感人的口述回忆,特别是利用上海档案馆的档案资料,同时结合自己亲身经历,阐述20世纪60年代初以来以周先生引领的复旦大学历史系的教学团队,在亦教亦编的过程中,如何完成《中国历史文选》这一教材的编纂和修订,以及通过“中国历史文选”这一经典课程的教学,展现教材编纂和教学实践互动的关系图谱,引导出更有意义的问题。“中国历史文选”这一经典课程的教学以及教材的编纂,已成为体现复旦严谨、求实、创新和批判这一学术传统的经典案例。When college teachers of history department in China’s mainland lectured on the course“Selected Works of Chinese History,”most of them had used the Selected Works of Chinese History,a textbook edited by Zhou Yutong.Closely related to the textbook,there is a course of the same name offered by the history department of Fudan University.Many fascinating stories have been passed down about the compilation of textbook and the lecturing of the course.This article attempts to give an interesting and impressive narration of the compilation and revision of the textbook,which was completed by the history department team led by Professor Zhou from the 1960 s,based on the archives of the Shanghai Archives,and the writer’s personal experience as well.It tries to lead the discussion to a more illuminating conclusion that the teaching and compilation of the course has set up a good example in the Fudan academic tradition:rigorous,practical,innovative and critical.
