摘　　要：《献给爱米丽的一朵玫瑰花》是福克纳“约克纳帕塔法世系”中久负盛名的短篇小说之一,因其高超的写作技巧和深厚的文学主题而备受关注。作品折射出美国南方由盛转衰的沉重历史,其中饱含着福克纳对已逝南方的复杂态度,既流露出眷恋之情,但又不乏批判意识。本文从新历史主义视角出发,聚焦于文本与历史之间的互动关系,从文本中探求福克纳的历史意识。A Rose for Emily is one of Faulkner's famous short stories in his"yorknapatafa lineage".It has attracted much attention for its superb writing skills and profound literary theme.The work reflects the heavy history of the American South from prosperity to decline,which is full of Faulkner's complex attitude towards the dead south,showing both nostalgia and critical consciousness.From the perspective of new historicism,this paper focuses on the interactive relationship between text and history,and explores Faulkner's historical consciousness from the text.
