上海基础外语教育新生态构建:“融合”、“服务”、“引领”——上海市英语教育教学研究基地的实践与创新

摘　　要：外语教育是整个教育生态系统的一个子系统。作为上海基础外语教育生态系统的新成员,上海市英语教育教学研究基地自2016年成立以来集聚高校理论研究资源,与英语教育专家、上海市教育管理部门、教研员、学校、一线教师等教育生态系统的重要参与者互动与合作,解读落实国家教育政策,结合外语教育理论和实践经验,通过高端教研活动、新教材编写和推广、教师培训等工作服务课堂教学和教师发展,重构上海基础外语教育生态系统。上海市英语教育教学研究基地改变了上海基础外语教育的生态结构、能量产生和输送模式,产出了一大批优秀教学和研究成果,促进了生态系统各方参与者的专业发展,整体提升了上海基础外语教育的效益和辐射能力,为中国基础外语教育改革与发展提供了可资借鉴的案例。Education is an ecosystem, of which foreign language teaching(FLT) is an important subpart. As a new participant in the Shanghai basic FLT ecosystem since 2016, the Shanghai Center for Research in English Language Education(SCRELE) has been pooling the wisdom of higher education theorists, collaborating with all the other stake-holders in the ecosystem including ELT specialists, the local education authorities, the subject supervisors, schools, front-line teachers etc., and trying to rebuild the ecosystem by interpreting and implementing government education policies to accommodate local conditions, combining theories with practices, organizing high-end seminars and teaching research programs, developing textbooks and training teachers to promote classroom instruction and teacher development. As a result, the SCRELE has changed both the structural pattern and mode of energy production and flow of the Shanghai basic FLT ecosystem, and has helped all the participants achieve professional and personal development with a number of teaching and research programs and projects. The new ecosystem serves to enhance the efficiency of the basic FLT in Shanghai and extends its influence nationwide, providing an important role model for the basic FLT reform and development in China.
