摘 要:信息技术不断发展,软件市场规模不断扩大,软件公司要想拓展全球市场,软件本地化的环节必不可少。文章以微博App的本地化产物微博国际版App为例,通过案例研究软件本地化过程中使用的翻译策略和方法,对其翻译的不当之处提出建议,并总结出微博App本地化的成功因素。希望能让同类软件公司学习改进,以保证他们产出的本地化软件达到更高质量,更好地走出国门,为软件拓展全球市场提供有利条件。As information technology continues to develop and the software market keeps growing,the software localization is essential for software companies to enter the global market.This paper takes the Weibo Intl.App,the localization product of Weibo App,as an example.Through case studies,the translation strategies and methods used in the software localization process are examined,suggestions are made for its improper translations,and the success factors for Weibo localization translation are summarized.It is hoped that similar software companies will learn and improve to ensure that the localized software they produce is of a higher quality and better able to go out of the country and provide favorable conditions for the software to expand into the global market.
