佛教对中国古代家具紫檀用材的影响

摘　　要：通过对出土文物、图像、古代文献资料的查阅和紫檀文物等资料的比对、辨析、系统梳理与分析,探寻了佛教传入中国后,其与世俗文化广泛融合与深入交流这一过程是如何将紫檀这一珍贵材料带到中国,推动中国古人认识和利用紫檀,并对中国古代家具发展产生深远影响的。研究表明佛教对于中国紫檀家具的发展起到促进作用,早在唐代中国古人就对紫檀有了充分的了解,将其广泛应用到家具等器物上。研究提升了人们对中国古典家具背后所承载的传统文化的认知,对中国传统家具文化的传承和弘扬有着重要的意义。Through the comparison,discrimination,systematic combing and analysis of unearthed cultural relics,handed down objects,images,ancient documents and materials,and Pterocarpus Santalinus cultural relics,this paper explored how the Pterocarpus Santalinus,a precious material,was brought to China along with the introduction of Buddhism into China,which promoted the ancient Chinese to understand and use Pterocarpus Santalinus and had an impact on the development of Chinese ancient furniture. Research shows that Buddhism played an important role in promoting the development of Chinese Pterocarpus Santalinus furniture. As early as the Tang Dynasty,the Pterocarpus Santalinus wood had been obtained fully understanding by ancient Chinese and was widely applied to make furniture and other artifacts. The research results enhance people’s understanding of the traditional culture behind Chinese classical furniture,which will have important significance for the inheritance and promotion of Chinese traditional furniture culture.
