摘　　要：江苏扬州特殊教育界有位富有传奇性的人物,他就是堪称特殊教育“多面手”的朱操校长。他先后创办了扬州培智学校、扬州聋儿康复中心以及扬州盲校。在扬州聋校任职期间,他推动了残疾人职业教育的发展。朱操校长不仅是一位实践家,更是一位善于思考与研究的理论工作者,其对特殊教育工作的系统总结思考,不仅具有时代性,更具超前性,至今依然具有现实的生命力。There is a legendary figure in the special education circle of Yangzhou in Jiangsu Province. He, president Zhu Cao, is called the “Generalist” of special education. He founds the Yangzhou Intellectual Education School, the rehabilitation education for deaf children and the Yangzhou School for the Blind. During his time at the Yangzhou School for the Deaf, he promotes the development of vocational education for the disabled. President Zhu Cao is not only a practitioner, but also a theoretical worker who is good at thinking and research. His systematic summary thinking of special education not only has epochal characteristics, but also is more advanced and still has realistic vitality.
