机器翻译对艺术院校英语教学的冲击及对策

摘  要:艺术院校英语教学长期深受各种不利客观条件和诸多负面主观因素的困扰,一直处于举步维艰的困境。近年来,随着机器翻译技术的快速发展和广泛应用,许多学生对英语学习产生了一些新的错误认知,进而过分依赖机器翻译,消极应对英语学习。只有勇于面对困境、重塑认知、改革创新、优化教学,引导学生正确认识机器翻译,才能消解机器翻译对英语教学造成的冲击,提升英语教学效果。English teaching in art colleges and universities,beset by different unfavorable objective conditions and various negative subjective factors,has been always in a predicament.In recent years,with the rapid development and wide application of machine translation technology,many students depend excessively on machine translation to cope with English learning due to their wrong cognition of the relationship between machine translation and English learning.Only through facing with the predicament courageously,recreating cognition,carrying out reforms and innovations,optimizing teaching,and helping students cognize machine translation correctly,can art universities and colleges cope with the challenges caused by machine translation and improve their performance of English teaching.
