潜文本、参照系与对话项:理解全球化时代汉学话语的一种进路

摘　　要：全球化时代汉学话语的核心特征突出表现为语文学根基、比较性视野和自反性省思三方面,学者不再把汉学仅仅作为一种对他者时空产生知识治理兴趣的“异托邦”研究,而是将其想象成一个真正的国际领域,使其处于古今中西多学科、多视野、多语境的交汇处。柯马丁等汉学家的工作是这类研究实践的代表,“表演”与“阐释”便是其借以反思传统文本性与文本研究的典型入径,由此从观念与方法论的层面开拓和更新了早期中国文本文化实践的分析场域。与当代汉学开展有效的批判性对话,需要充分把握其所依凭的潜文本与参照系,理解其问题意识、话语资源和表述方式,体认汉学窗口映射的西学整体知识范式。跨文化对话的建设事业对中西学术共同体提出了双向的挑战和职责诉求。在世界中重访中国古典传统,召唤我们进入包括当代汉学领域在内的多种国际学术协商空间,去开展更扎实和具体的话语对接、转换与形塑工作。The core features of Sinology discourse in the age of globalization are highlighted in three aspects: the foundation of philology, comparative perspectives and self-reflection. Scholars no longer regard Sinology as a study of some “heterotopia, ” projecting intellectual interest on disciplining “the antiquity of others, ” but as a genuine international field, to put it in the matrix of diverse disciplines, visions and contexts across time and space. Works of representative sinologists such as Martin Kern are typical. Kern takes “performance” and “interpretation” as the main approaches to reflect on traditional concepts of “text” and “textual studies, ” thus opening up some new dimensions concerning analyses of textual and cultural practices in Early China, in terms of conception and methodology. In order to conduct more effective and critical dialogues with contemporary Sinology, we need to grasp their subtexts and references, also to understand their problematics, and how they make use of their discursive resources and their configurations accordingly. Furthermore, we should get better awareness of the systematic Western episteme refracted by contemporary Sinology. The undertaking of intercultural dialogue has put forward two-way challenges and responsibilities to academic communities in both China and the West. Revisiting Chinese classical traditions in the world calls us to engage in and negotiate with diverse international academia, including the field of contemporary Sinology, to carry out more solid and concrete work on the connection, transformation and shaping of discourses.
