摘 要:陶渊明《五柳先生传》并非个人自传,而是效法前代逸民传、高士传的拟作,其形象糅合了前代诸多逸民、高士的特质,在此基础上又经过想象虚构而成。“五柳先生”的名号源自柳下惠,陶渊明在涉笔成趣的同时,也藉此对柳下惠示以致敬。晋宋以来逐渐出现推崇学问、注重博览的学术新风尚,陶渊明在文中标举“好读书,不求甚解”,既有顺应时势的一面,也有特立独行的另一面,由此可知他更注重强调阅读和写作所具有的怡情悦性的功能。Tao Yuanming’s Biography of Mr.Wu Liu is not an autobiography,but an imitation of the biographies of hermits and biographies of sages in the previous dynasties.The image combines the characteristics of many hermits and sages of the previous dynasties,and on this basis,it is created through imagination.The name of“Mr.Wu Liu”comes from Liu Xiahui.Tao Yuanming also used it to pay homage to Liu Xiahui when he became interested in writing.Since the Jin and Song dynasties,there gradually emerged a new academic trend of advocating learning and paying attention to reading widely.Tao Yuanming put forward the idea of“reading selectively while pursuing no profound understanding”in his article,which showed both the side of adapting to the current situation and the side of staying independent.Therefore,we can see that he paid more attention to the pleasing function of reading and writing.
