摘 要:法国虽为欧洲汉学重要发源地之一,但其中国文学通史编撰却起步较晚,直到20世纪后才有了较为成体系的专门文学史论著。乔治·苏里耶·德·莫朗的《论中国文学》乃其先驱之作。该著体例已非常接近“现代”文学史。通过文本细读,可以了解20世纪初法国汉学界对中国文学的一般看法与普通读者的期待视野,也可看到德·莫朗对中国文学的个人趣味和独特见解。France, one of the birthplaces of sinology in Europe, was a relatively late starter in the compilation of the general history of Chinese literature. It was not until the twentieth century that a relative systematic treatise on specialized Chinese literary history was published in France. Essai sur la littérature chinoise witten by Georges Soulié de Morant is his pioneer work, and the style of which is already very close to that of modern literary history. Besides, through a close reading and analysis of the text, we can not only understand the general view of Chinese literature in French sinology at the beginning of the twentieth century and the vision expected by the general reader, but also see de Morant’s personal interest and very unique insights into Chinese literature.
