汉语主体意识与英语客体意识探析——以《沉重的翅膀》葛浩文英译本为例

摘　　要：语言是思维的载体和表现形式,不同文化下的思维方式必然会影响语言的结构和特征。中西方思想中存在着许多差异,其中就包括主客体意识差异。中国传统思想强调主体意识,西方思想注重客观事实,强调客体意识。这种思维方式上的差异决定了英汉语言方面的差异,继而在英汉翻译过程中产生了相应的影响。文章试以《沉重的翅膀》英译本分析主客体意识差异对翻译过程的影响,促进英汉翻译过程中的语际转换。Language represents the way of thinking, and the way of thinking in different cultures will inevitably affect the structure and characteristics of language. There are many differences in Chinese and Western thought, including differences in subject and object. Traditional Chinese thought emphasizes subject consciousness, while Western thought emphasizes objective facts and object consciousness. This difference in the way of thinking determines the differences in English and Chinese languages, and then has a corresponding impact in the process of English-Chinese translation. This article attempts to use the English version of Heavy Wings to analyze the impact of the difference in subject and object consciousness on the translation process, and to promote the inter-language conversion in the process of English-Chinese translation.
