郭焯莹“班固结集《楚辞》说”评议

摘　　要：关于《楚辞》十六卷的结集,当代楚辞学者在旧有的“刘向结集《楚辞》说”之外提出了“王逸结集《楚辞》说”.在此之前,清季民初的楚辞学者郭焯莹提出了“班固结集《楚辞》”的全新看法,鲜为人知.郭氏认为:以刘向对东方朔人品与作品的了解,他不会将《七谏》编入《楚辞》;王逸《九怀序》所说的“史官录第”是指班固(而非刘向)编录了楚辞作品,但因为王逸不满于班固对屈原的指责,不想彰扬班固,所以将班固的名字隐匿;班固所结集的《楚辞》篇第是《楚辞释文》的篇第.郭氏提出的“班固结集《楚辞》说”可以补证,但也有可议之处.《九思序》所说的“谱录”指的是《楚辞目录》,是班固参与撰写的《书部》中的一种,这就是“史官录第”的含义;王逸对班固结集《楚辞》一事并非刻意隐匿;班固结集的《楚辞》篇第应是今本篇第而非《楚辞释文》篇第.郭氏提出的“班固结集《楚辞》说”虽有疑点,但仍有其合理性,值得我们关注.About the compilation of the sixteen volumes of Chu Ci,contemporary scholarsput forward the idea that they were compiled by Wang Yi,in addition to the old idea that they were compiled by Liu Xiang.Before that,Guo Zhuoying,a scholar of Chu Ci in the late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China,put forward the view that Ban Gu compiled Chu Ci,which is rarely known.Guo believes that,in view of his understanding of the personal character and works of Dongfang Shuo,Liu Xiang would not have included Qi J ian(Seven Pleads)in Chu Ci.The statement“It was compiled by a official his-torian.”in Preface to Jiu Huaiwriten by Wang Yi suggests that it was Ban Gu,instead of Liu Xiang,who collected the works to compile Chu Ci.Because Wang Yi disliked Ban Gu's accusation against Qu Yuan and did not want to highlight Ban Gu,he intentionally neglected Ban Gu's name in the statement.Ban Gu's edition of Chu Ci was exactly the edition in Chu Ci Shi Wen.This paper believes that Guo Zhuoying's view can be further proved,but there is also something worth discussing.The“Pu Lu”mentioned in Preface to Jiu Si refers to the“Catalogue of Chu Ci”,which is part of Shu Bu(Booklist)coau-thored by Ban Gu,as is meant by the statement that“It was compiled by a official historian.”Wang Yi did not deliberately hide the fact that Ban Gu compiledChu Ci,and Ban Gu's edition of Chu Ci is the current edition,not the edition in Chu Ci Shi Wen.There are doubts about Guo's viewpoint,but his idea is still reasonable and deserves our attention.
