摘 要:元明清时期西南地区的土司因不同的族属、历史发展进程,其姓名的类型和功能呈现出不同的状况及特点。姓名具有较强的社会特性,土司姓名与国家政治相结合,即被赋予了强烈的社会政治功能,而封建帝王御赐的姓名更是放大了土司姓名的政治属性。对土司而言,是一种非凡的政治荣耀,对王朝国家来说,则是构建土司国家认同的一种重要手段。土司姓名构成文化映照出其自主学习与吸收内地文化的实践及努力,是土司向中央王朝表达政治立场与国家认同的重要方式,同时也是元明清时期不同民族之间交往、交流、交融的一个生动注脚。Due to different ethnicities and historical development processes,the types and functions of Tusis’names in the south-western region during the Yuan,Ming and Qing dynasties varied.The name culture has political attributes,so Tusi’s name culture had strong socio-political function when it contacted with state politics.And especially,the names given by emperors showed even greater political attributes.For Tusi,the name was one kind of political honour.For the central government,it could build Tusi’s state identity with the names.So,the name culture was an important method by which Tusi could express their political stand and state identity.The Tusi’s name culture reflected the process that the ethnic minority people learned from the Han people,and it was also an example that different ethnic people associated,communicated and integrated with each other in the Yuan,Ming and Qing dynasties.
