摘　　要：创新能力的内涵可以从创新品格和创新思维两个范畴来界定。外语专业学生的创新能力与思辨能力、跨文化能力和研究能力等密不可分。创新能力的培养需要遵循显性教学原则和协同发展原则,具体实施可以从课程体系设置、教学理念及方法的革新、评价体系建设三个方面开展。培养学生创新能力的成效主要取决于教师,教师不仅需要具备宽厚的专业知识,而且自身要有突出的创新能力,才能承担起培养学生创新能力的重任。This paper attempts to redefine innovative ability from two dimensions,i.e.innovative character and innovative thinking.The innovative ability of foreign language majors is interwoven with students' critical thinking,intercultural competence,and research abilities.The cultivation of innovative ability should be guided by two principles,namely,principle of explicit instruction and principle of coordinated development.Its implementation should take into consideration the curriculum system,innovation of teaching philosophy and methodology,and the evaluation system.The effect of cultivating students' innovative ability mainly depends on the qualities of instructors.Instructors cannot achieve success in cultivating students' innovative ability without outstanding innovative ability and a vast store of knowledge.
