摘  要:我国的高职公共英语教材在语法的编排和讲解、语料的选择和文本内容的正确性、练习的设置与解答、教参对某些语言点的解析,以及印刷和排版等方面都存在失误和瑕疵。究其原因,主要是相关人员对职业教育以及教材的重要意义认识不足,编辑团队人员素质和能力参差不齐,缺乏精益求精的工匠精神。高职公共英语教材建设必须端正思想,更新编写理念;加强团队建设,建立健全教材编写的审核、评价与监督体制;加强对编写人员的教育、培训和指导,以确保编写出质量过硬、实用好用的高职公共英语教材。In our higher vocational public English textbooks,there are mistakes and defects in such sections as the arrangement and explanation of grammar,the selection of linguistic data and the correctness of text content,the design of exercises and the answers to them,the analysis of some language points presented in theTeacher’s Manual,and the printing and typesetting.The main reasons lie in that relevant personnel are not well aware of the significance of vocational education and textbooks;and the editors are unevenin terms of qualification and ability,lacking the spirit of craftsman to strive for excellence.In the process of constructing public English textbooks for higher vocational education,the compilers ought to adhere to correct compiling thoughts and update their compiling concepts.Compiling team building should be strengthened along with the well-established and improvedsystem of reviewing,evaluation and supervision for textbook compilation.It is equally important to strengthen the education,training and guidance of the compilers to ensure the compilation of high-quality,practical and easy-to-use public English textbooks for higher vocational education.
