摘 要:本文首先回顾了20世纪西方弥尔顿研究领域的一次重要的学术争鸣。这次争鸣始于学界对《梦亡妻》一诗中两任妻子的考证,最终形成了“玛丽派”“凯瑟琳派”和“无具体人物派”三方观点的交融和互通。之后,本文通过文本细读,论证了《梦亡妻》的8个中译本对西方研究者相关学术观点的回应和补充。最后,本文试图通过《梦亡妻》体现的译入语文本与源语文本及其评论间的关系,论证外国文学研究与外国文学中译的互动及其重要的学术和文化交流的意义。This paper first reviews a crucial academic dispute in Milton studies in the 20th century.This dispute originated in a disagreement regarding the identity of the deceased wife in Milton's so-called"last sonnet"and ended in an interaction of three different critical opinions supporting Mary Powell,Katherine Woodcock or a universal female ideal respectively.Then,this article tries to compare eight different Chinese translations of the"last sonnet"in order to show the differences and their corresponding responses to the views of western Miltonists.Finally,based on the analysis above,this paper endeavors to establish a possible triangle among the source text,the target text and literary interpretations,so that the cultural and academic significance of the interaction between foreign literary studies and translating foreign literary works can be proved and highlighted.
