A Meta-Analysis of the Effectiveness of Intervention for Facial Expression Recognition Skills in Children with Autism—An Example of the Single-Test Experiment

摘  要:对国内外针对孤独症儿童面部表情识别能力进行干预的22篇单一被试实验研究文献进行元分析,采用PND法计算相关干预对象、干预目标、干预过程(干预方法、干预强度、干预环境)的效应值,并分析其对面部表情干预效果的影响。研究结果显示:(1)孤独症儿童随年龄的增长其干预效果越好;轻度障碍孤独症儿童干预效果优于中重度。(2)3-6个面部表情干预效果最佳,基本情绪组合干预效果优于基本情绪加复合情绪组合。(3)多种干预方法相结合的干预效果优于单一干预方法效果;3-5周和6-8周的干预周期、20-45分钟/天和45分钟/天及以上干预时长最佳;自然情境场所干预效果优于结构化较高的实验场所;单一干预者干预效果优于多个干预者组合;研究者等专业人员干预组合干预效果优于家长参与组合。基于以上研究结果,提出相应建议,以期为未来特殊教育工作者开展相应实践和研究提供启示。A meta-analysis was conducted on 22 single-subject experimental research papers at home and abroad on early intervention for facial expression recognition ability of children with autism,and the PND method was used to calculate the effect values of relevant subject characteristics,intervention targets,and experimental characteristics(intervention method,intervention intensity,and intervention environment),and to analyze their effects on facial expression intervention effects.The results of the study showed that(1)children with autism had better intervention effects with age;children with mildly impaired autism had better intervention effects than those with moderate to severe impairment.(2)3-6 facial expressions had the best effect,and the basic emotion combination was better than the basic emotion plus compound emotion combination.(3)A combination of multiple intervention methods was more effective than a single intervention method;3-5 weeks and 6-8 weeks intervention cycles,20-45 min/day and 45 min/day and above intervention length were best;natural context sites were more effective than more structured experimental sites;a single interventionists were more effective than a multiple interventionist combinations for intervention;professional intervention combinations such as researchers were more effective than parent involvement combinations;the combination of professional interventions such as researchers is better than the combination of parental involvement.Based on these findings,recommendations are made to provide insight for future practice and research by special educators.
