高级英语阅读修辞鉴赏话语分析探究

摘  要:以高级英语阅读教材The Best American Essays(2012)中Objects of Affection一文为例,运用修辞学中语篇分析和修辞格的研究理论,从文章的语篇体裁和修辞格两个方面进行话语分析,探索它们对高级英语教学的影响。践行修辞鉴赏教学模式,可以较好地改善高级英语教学的现状。高级英语阅读课程教学应重在培养学生的语篇鉴赏能力和思辨能力,而非局限于英语基础知识。Taking the article Objects of Affection in the advanced English reading textbook The Best American Essays(2012)as an example,this paper uses the theory of discourse analysis and figure of speech in rhetorics to analyze discourse genre and rhetoric device of the article and discusses the influence of teaching model on advanced English and the importance of rhetoric appreciation mode improving the status quo of advanced English teaching.It is concluded that the teaching of advanced English reading courses should focus on cultivating students’discourse appreciation ability and critical thinking skills,rather than limited to basic English knowledge.
