认知视域下的嘉兴地名文化内涵阐释

摘　　要：运用认知语言学的隐喻和转喻理论,以嘉兴市地名文化遗产保护名录中的59个地名为语料,描述分析了嘉兴地名的认知机制和命名理据。通过统计分析,归纳了嘉兴地名的认知特征:转喻占绝对优势且类型呈现多样化。这反映了转喻认知机制在地名命名中普遍而深入的影响,也反映了嘉兴人对地理环境的认识以及各种历史、社会、经济、文化等人文因素对地名命名的深刻影响。此外,在理论运用和研究方法上也作了一些探索。By applying the theory of metaphor and metonymy in cognitive linguistics,this paper uses the corpus of 59 place names in Jiaxing s place name cultural heritage protection list to describe and analyze the cognitive mechanism and naming rationale of place names in Jiaxing.By statistical analysis,the cognitive characteristics of Jiaxing place names are summarized:metonymy is the dominating mechanism,and its types are diversified.This reflects not only the universal and profound influence of the metonymy cognitive mechanism in place naming but also the profound influence of Jiaxing people's understanding of the geographical environment and the various historical,social,economic,cultural and other human factors on place naming.In addition,this paper also makes some explorations of theory application and research methods.
