摘  要:随着素质教育理念的不断推行,我国高校英语教学课程发生了翻天覆地的变化?在过去的教学环境中,很多教学工作过于严肃,注重理论知识讲解,注重理论考核成绩,忽视了学生的实践能力培养?在新时代的英语教学中,应当注重学生的实践能力培养,提高学生的英语应用能力?随着我国经济的不断发展,英语在生活中的应用范围越来越广,因此需要加强学生的英语实践应用能力培养,改变传统的课堂教学模式,提升教学质量?很多学生之所以无法高质量地完成英语学习,主要原因是英语教学课程中的内容与我们日常生活中的内容差距较远,很难将这门学科融入生活,因此教师应当尝试从多元文化视角讲解英语知识,让学生能够接纳与融合更加多元的文化,并在多元文化的环境中学到更多的英语知识。With the implementation of the concept of quality education,the curriculum of college English courses has undergone tremendous changes.Teaching was taken too much seriously in the past.It attached great importance on the explanation of theoretical knowledge and the result of the final exam,but ignored the cultivation of students'practical ability.English teaching in the new era should pay more attention on the training of students'practical ability,and to enhance their English application ability.With the continuous development of Chinese economy,English has been widely used in people's daily life.So,the traditional English teaching model should be changed,and the cultivation of students'practical ability should be put in the important place to improve English teaching quality.The reason why students cannot study English effectively is that there is a big gap between the teaching content in English courses and the content of daily life,and it is difficult to integrate the knowledge into real life.Therefor,multi-cultural perspective of English teaching should be applied to enable students to learn English more effectively.
