京剧在英语世界的译介研

摘　　要：本研究基于翔实史料,对京剧在英语世界的译介进行了系统回顾与梳理。空间维度而言,京剧在英语世界的译介主要集中在英美两国,尤其是美国;时间维度而言,京剧在英语世界的译介呈现明显阶段性特征。19世纪70年代至20世纪初,京剧主要作为文学形式译入;20世纪30年代的京剧译本主要为西方观众提供指南,以帮助他们看懂京剧,树立正确的京剧认知观;20世纪60年代开始,京剧译本多为西方戏剧专业教学、学术研究和高校京剧排演服务;21世纪以降,英语世界流通的京剧译本多由我国主动译出,译本重在对京剧多元文化元素的综合译介,兼具多种功能。Based on detailed historical materials,this paper makes a thorough investigation into the translation of Peking Opera in the English-speaking world.It is found that,in general,Peking Opera has been translated by British and American scholars,and,in returm,dsseminated mainly in the two countries.It is also found that from the 1870s to the early period of the 20"century,Peking Opera was introduced into the English world as a literary genre;in the 1930s,translations were to provide a guide to help the English public build the correct cognition of Peking Opera;in the 196Os,Peking Opera translations began to be used for academic studies and performances;in the 21"century,China begins to actively translate Peking Opera into the English-speaking world,and translations are becoming multi-functional characterized by the comprehensive reproduction of the cultural elements contained in the source plays.
