为国家叙事对外传播而译的外来译者——兼评《沙博理翻译艺术研究》

摘　　要：外来译者群体对我国国家叙事对外传播贡献重大,其译作也显示出高超翻译艺术,但目前对这类译者群体研究不足。任东升、王芳等的新著《沙博理翻译艺术研究》基于语料库分析、数据统计分析、文本对比分析与译者对比分析等方法,对外来译者典型代表沙博理的翻译艺术进行了多维度深刻阐述。结合对该著的介评,重点探讨外来译者的译者身份、国家叙事对外来译者行为的规约、国家叙事与翻译艺术如何共同呈现以及外来译者研究路径四大问题,以期为外来译者研究和在新时代如何继续发挥这一群体的国家叙事对外传播作用提供启示。Foreign translators have made great contributions to the external dissemination of China’s national narrative through excellent translation.However,current research on these foreign translators is inadequate.Manourvers and Art:Sidney Shapiro’s Translation of Chinese Literature has made a profound exposition of Sidney Shapiro’s translation from multiple dimensions with corpus analysis,data statistical analysis,comparative analysis and other methods.This article focuses on the exploration into the four aspects,namely the identity of foreign translators,the impact of national narrative on foreign translators’translator behavior,the presentation of both national narrative and the art of translation,and the research path of foreign translators based on the review of this monograph.It aims to shed some lights on the study of foreign translators and the way to continue the role playing of this group in the external dissemination of national narrative in the new era.
