赛珍珠译者行为批评——以《水浒传》译本为例

摘　　要：译者行为批评打破了传统的二元对立的翻译批评模式,通过内外结合,使翻译批评更加客观、科学和全面。本文在译者行为批评视域下,通过考察译本中“意志性”译者行为痕迹,从“翻译内”和“翻译外”两个层面对赛珍珠的译者行为进行分析,聚焦于译者的意志性、身份角色和社会语境与译者的译内、译外行为和译文的译内、译外效果之间的互动关系。赛译《水浒传》研究是赛珍珠研究的重要组成部分,也是一个亟待加强的环节。对赛珍珠译者行为的批评分析不仅对从历史角度评价赛译水浒具有积极意义,对当前中国文学文化外译也具有重要的启示作用。The translator behavior criticism could digest the binary opposition in the traditional translation criticism mode and make it more objective,scientific and comprehensive.Through the closer examination of trace left by the translator as a body of willpower in the text,this paper analyzes P.S.Buck’s translational behavior within the critical domain of the translator’s behavior in terms of both“intra-translation”and“extra-translation”,then focuses on the interrelation among the role and identity of translator,social context,intra-translation behavior/effect and extra-translation behavior/effect.The research on All Men Are Brothers(SHUI HU CHUAN)is a critical part of the overall studies on P.S.Buck and is worth more attention.It not only exerts positive effects on the historical evaluation on Buck’s contributions,but also provides some suggestions for the“Going Global”strategy for Chinese culture development.
