摘 要:E-钙黏蛋白(E-cad)是钙黏蛋白超家族的一员,是由CDH1基因编码的Ⅰ型跨膜蛋白,广泛存在于人和动物全身上皮细胞的细胞黏附分子和肿瘤抑制因子,介导上皮细胞间的黏着连接,对胚胎发育时的细胞识别、迁移和组织分化也有重要作用。研究证实,E-cad水平的下降能够促进癌细胞扩散、转移。在缺乏E-cad的癌细胞中,再表达E-cad或者通过其他方式提高E-cad的表达水平可以抑制肿瘤的侵袭。鼻咽癌是我国高发恶性肿瘤之一,调高E-cad的表达水平不仅可以抑制鼻咽癌细胞的侵袭能力及迁移能力,还可以解决鼻咽癌细胞耐药性和耐辐射性的问题。本文就E-cad在鼻咽癌中表达的意义及研究进展进行综述。E-cadherin(E-cad)is a member of the cadherin superfamily.It is a type I transmembrane protein encoded by the CDH1 gene.It is a cell adhesion molecule and tumor suppressor widely present in human and animal systemic epithelial cells.It mediates adhesion between epithelial cells and plays an important role in cell recognition,migration and tissue differentiation during embryonic development.Many studies have confirmed that the decrease in E-cadherin levels makes epithelial mesenchymal transition more likely to occur in tumor cells,thereby making cancer cells more prone to spread and metastasis.Further expression of E-cadherin in cancer cells lacking E-cadherin can inhibit tumor invasion.Among them,nasopharyngeal carcinoma is one of the high-risk malignant tumors in China,and relevant studies have found that the level of E-cadherin in nasopharyngeal carcinoma cells is down regulated.There are multiple ways to regulate the expression level of E-cad.Raising the expression level of E-cadherin can not only inhibit the invasion and migration ability of nasopharyngeal carcinoma cells,but also solve the drug resistance and radiation resistance of nasopharyngeal carcinoma cells,proving the potential of E-cadherin as a new diagnostic,adverse prognostic marker,and therapeutic target of nasopharyngeal carcinoma.This article reviews the significance and research progress of E-cadherin expression in nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
