基于语料库的庞德中国典籍英译译者风格探析

摘　　要：庞德是20世纪美国著名现代主义诗人与翻译家。其诗人译者的双重身份使我们可以在对比其翻译作品与原创作品的基础上归纳总结其译者风格。本文利用语料库分析方法,通过自建庞德翻译作品语料库和庞德原创作品语料库,从词汇、句法和语篇三个层面比较庞德的翻译作品与原创作品,归纳总结庞德在中国典籍英译中的译者风格。这种全新的研究方法是译者风格研究的有益尝试,有助于拓展译者风格研究的视域。Ezra Pound is a famous American modernist poet and translator in the 2Oth century.His poet-translatorship makes it reasonable to probe into his style as a translator by comparing his original writing with his translated works.In this paper,we build two corpora:Pound's Translated Works Corpus(TWC)and his Original Works Corpus(OWC).With the help of corpus-based analysis,we scrutinize Pound's translator style by comparing these two corpora from the lexical,syntactic and textual levels.With a new approach to study translator style,this research is conducive to expand the scope of studies on translator style.
