摘　　要：新时代背景下复合型外语人才需求不断增加,数字化技术快速发展,给外语教育带来了机遇与挑战,也催生了外语教材从内容、形式到功能的升级转型。“新时代大学应用英语系列教材”编写以全人教育为本,融课程思政元素、英语应用能力培养、语料库技术于一体,突显外语教材的人文性和应用性,实现教材编写的数据化和科学化,将助力大学英语教学改革与发展。In the New Era,the rising demand for interdisciplinary foreign language talents and rapid progress of digital technologies bring both opportunities and challenges to foreign language education,and facilitate the development of upgraded and transformed textbooks in terms of content,forms and function.The compilation of the textbook series“New Era Applied College English"”targets at holistic education by integrating morality cultivation into course teaching,enhancing students'abilities to use English in the workplace,and adopting corpus technology.The textbook series is featured with humanity and practicability through the data-oriented scientific compilation,hopefully beneficial to the reform and development of college English teaching.
