摘  要:在20世纪中国文学的研究视野中,海外汉学家以情感为中心,建构起一种有别于传统文学史叙述的“有情的文学史”。对其具体观念、研究立场和相应的研究成果进行理论反思,可发现他们将情感作为传统、结构及表演展现出公共性的多元面向,呈现出的一种公共性的视角和方法。本文在公共性的问题视域里检视其研究,不仅针对情感的公共性维度作出说明,更意在阐明其研究议题提出的背景和依据,发现其内在的学理机制并辨析其可发生作用的有效范围,以观照当下中国现代文学研究的公共性建构问题。In the research field of Chinese literature in the 20th century,overseas sinologists take sentiment as the center and construct a kind of“literary history with sentiment”that is different from the traditional narrative of literary history.Through theoretical reflection on their specific concepts,research positions and corresponding research results,we can find that they take sentiment as tradition,structure and performance to show the public multiple aspects,presenting a public perspective and methods.The“new questions”and“new answers to old questions”raised by overseas sinologists from either a distant or a close viewpoint are precisely the way in which they jointly participate in the process of modern Chinese literary studies by proposing new research topics or changing old literary evaluation standards.In this process,these issues are gradually problematized in the literary public sphere through the interaction of“opinions”,and their initial academic positions,academic concepts and methods become objects of research and reflection along with the expression of their views.From the way of referring to literary publicness,there are two typical paths for its meaningful advancement.One is to transform the voices of intellectuals into influential“social”voices through certain linguistic media channels,thus forming a new cultural and critical space,such as“the shout in the iron house”as Leo Lee puts it.By creating a common imagination and intervening in the public space,literature can explore the power that it can transmit through the construction of words and narratives.The other path favors the renewal of internal discourse,in which scholars enter the literary field through the expression of their individual opinions in order to influence or change the existing critical research standards.Such multiple discourses participate in the construction of the literary field and promote the evolutionary process of diversifying research viewpoints,which is itself an effective act to broaden the public
