译学术语“编译”的英译名探析

摘　　要：编译是一种重要的翻译方法。在大量关于编译的研究中,研究者对编译一词的翻译存在分歧。针对这种情况,文章考察了该词的定义,从术语意识及复杂性特征分析译名混乱的原因,基于术语命名原则比较不同译法,并建议在译学领域将“编译”英文名统一为transediting,以促进术语使用的规范性和一致性。The translation method of Bian Yi is frequently used and has been subject to various translations in relevant studies.To address this,this paper examines the definition of the term and analyzes the reasons for different translations from the perspectives of terminology awareness and complexity.Based on the findings,the paper proposes"transediting"as a translation for Bian Yi,aiming to facilitate international communication.
