摘　　要：食物作为一种具象的日常生活符号和抽象的文化能指符号,普遍存在于世界儿童文学。在北美亚裔(尤其是华裔)少儿文学中,具有民族性的食物书写更是一种突出现象。食物不仅呈现为一种文化遗产和景观,而且联结着人物的文化取向、国族身份认同等问题,且常纽结族群历史、家庭代际、性别地位中的伦理问题。以不同时代和场域空间为背景的亚裔少儿文学的食物书写,呈现出特有语境中的文化侧重和伦理取向,作家在东西方文化坐标系中对东西方伦理文化进行比照,有亲和、批判、承续或蜕变。以食物为主题的当代北美亚裔儿童文学总体上呈现出对于摒除种族歧视、互尊互重、平等友善、理解包容等伦理价值的标举,旨在引导不同国族的儿童读者内化合理的伦理观念,建构多元文化共存共享的家园。Food,as both a concrete symbol of daily life and an abstract cultural signifier,is prevalent in worldwide children’s literature.Among Asian American(particularly Chinese American)children’s literature,the portrayal of ethnic-specific food stands out as a prominent phenomenon.Food not only represents cultural heritage and sceneries but also connects to essential issues such as characters’cultural orientations,national identity,and often intertwines with ethical concerns related to ethnic history,intergenerational dynamics,and gender roles.In Asian American children’s literature set in various temporal and spatial contexts,the depiction of food exhibits distinctive cultural emphasis and ethical orientations.Authors,within the context of both Eastern and Western cultural frameworks,engage in comparative reflections on ethical cultures,displaying affinity,critique,continuity,and transformation.Contemporary Asian American children’s literature centered around food generally exemplifies ethical values such as rejecting racial discrimination,appealing for mutual respect,equality,understanding,and inclusion.Its purpose is to guide young readers of diverse ethnicities in internalizing sound ethical principles and constructing a harmonious home where multiple cultures coexist.
