摘 要:学术英语学习动机是大学生具有的取得学术英语课程成功并继续进行学习的渴望和内在驱动力。受二语学习动机理论和实践及学术英语课程普遍开设的影响,学术英语学习动机的重要性逐渐被重视。本研究借鉴二语学习动机量表研究的理论构念和实践,采用焦点小组形式进行深入访谈,编制初始问卷并进行试测,修订后形成正式量表并进行测试。运用探索性因子分析和验证性因子分析,本研究发现学术英语学习动机涵盖“专业提升”“个人发展”“测评技能”“学习情景”和“家国情怀”五个维度。量表具有较强的稳定性及良好的信度和效度,适于测量大学生的学术英语学习动机。The learning motivation of English for Academic Purposes(EAP) refers to the desire and drive possessed by college students to achieve course success and to continue engaging in academic performance.Influenced by second language learning motivation theories and practices,as well as the widespread offering of EAP,the importance of EAP learning motivation has gradually gained recognition.Drawing on the theoretical construct and practice of the second language learning motivation scale,our study forms a formal scale after revision,on the basis of focus group in-depth interviews,the initial questionnaire and a pretest.The exploratory factor analysis(EFA) and the confirmatory factor analysis(CFA) are carried out on the two groups of samples from two formal tests.The results show that academic English learning motivation covers five dimensions:“major promotion”,“personal development”,“assessment skills”,“learning environment”,and “family and motherland attachment”.With strong stability,good reliability and validity,the scale suits to measuring college students' learning motivation of EAP.
