摘 要:朱柏庐是一位理学家,其《朱柏庐治家格言》主要在于言“礼”,而刘止唐的《豫诚堂家训》则重点在于言“心”,因为刘氏是阳明后学的馀绪。他以《中庸》为依据,提出了“天”“孝”“诚”“恕”的家训,借助于《大学》的“三纲领”“八条目”给其子子孙孙言明了进德修业、讲信和睦的行为标准。由于刘止唐在《下学梯航》中抄录了《朱柏庐治家格言》,所以,《豫诚堂家训》可以视为是接着朱柏庐的格言继续往前说。《豫诚堂家训》的整体结构有一个由天到人,又由人到天,下学上达的过程。这种结构或思维定式贯穿于它的始终。但是,与晚明学者空谈性情不同的是,它自始至终都落脚在人生进德修业、致良知的各个过程和各个侧面之中。它有三个重要的理念面向:忠恕之道、以诚待人以及注重人的行为。需要注意的是,这虽然是一篇意在培育当时社会精英的家训,但是它所体现的人才观念又不仅在于一家之得失,而在于倡导以兼济天下苍生为己任的儒家观念。Zhu Bailu was a rationalist,so his Zhu Bailu's family maxims mainly focuses on"rites",while Liu Zhitang's"Yu Cheng Tang's family training"focuses on"Xin",because Liu was the remnant of Yangming's postschool.It is based on the"Zhongyong",and puts forward the family training of"Heaven","Filial Piety","Sincerity","Forgiveness",with the help of the"Three Programmes"of the"University",and the"Eight Articles"of the"University",Liu Chitang gave his children and grandchildren the standards of behaviour for virtue and cultivation,and for faith and harmony.Because Liu Zhitang in the Next learning ladder voyage in the transcription of the Zhu Bailu family maxims,so,Yu Cheng Tang Family Tradition can be regarded as followed by Zhu Bailu's maxims continue to say.The overall structure of the Yu Cheng Tang Family Tradition has a process of learning from heaven to man and from man to heaven.This structure or mindset runs throughout it.However,unlike the late Ming scholars'empty talk about temperament,it is rooted in the various processes and aspects of advancing morality and cultivating one's conscience in one's life from the beginning to the end.It has three important conceptual orientations:the way of loyalty and forgiveness,treating people with sincerity,and focusing on human behaviour.It is important to note that although this is a family motto intended to cultivate the social elite of the time,the concept of talent which embodies is not only about the gains and losses of a family,but also about advocating the Confucian concept of taking the responsibility of helping the world as a whole.
