二语动机自我系统视域下美国中文学习者学习动机个案研究

摘　　要：本研究在二语动机自我系统理论框架指导下,以中美高校某合作项目的8位学员为一个群体开展个案研究,从三个维度分析学员中文学习动机的动态变化及影响因素。对动机自评分及访谈等数据的分析结果显示,项目学员的中文学习动机总体呈现波动起伏的趋势,且变化轨迹各不相同。“理想二语自我”对学习动机的内在主导作用持久而稳定,“应该二语自我”在前者导向下起辅助作用,“二语学习经历”在短期内是更为直接和具体的动机影响因素。Guided by the theoretical framework of the L2 Motivational Self System,this study investigates the Chinese language learning motivation of eight US university students during their four-month experience of learning Chinese in China.The study analyzes the various factors affecting the dynamic changes in learners’motivation in three dimensions:Ideal L2 Self,Ought-to L2 Self,and L2 Learning Experience.The data analysis shows that the eight students’motivation to learn Chinese varies and fluctuates to different degrees.Ideal L2 Self has a more significant and stable influence;Ought-to L2 Self plays a supportive role under the direction of Ideal L2 Self.L2 Learning Experience is the most immediate factor that influences learners’language learning motivation.
