摘 要:选取一所“双一流”建设高校为研究对象,还原和刻画大学场域中主要利益相关者对学科建设指标的理解、围绕指标采取的行动策略以及指标产生的影响。研究发现,高校高度重视学科建设指标并将其作为学科治理的重要工具。管理人员看重指标在学科建设“锦标赛”中的外在功用,依凭强有力的行政权威和资源垄断地位,将指标深度嵌入学科建设的各个层级和环节。在教师看来,使用指标是管理逻辑对学术逻辑的僭越,指标使用中的“一刀切”不仅会削弱指标的有效性,还可能抑制教师从事学术工作的内生动力,引发目标置换和无序竞争。学科建设指标的建构性决定了指标治理的管控逻辑并不能自动转化为学科绩效。我们需要对大学学科建设中的指标治理进行全方位清点和反思,以更好地推进学科建设工作,提高学科发展水平。Taking a“Double First Class”construction university as the research object,restore and depict the understanding of major stakeholders in the university field on discipline construction indicators,action strategies taken around the indicators,and the impact of the indicators.Research has found that universities attach great importance to discipline construction indicators and use them as important tools for discipline governance.Managers value the external function of indicators in the discipline construction championship,relying on strong administrative authority and resource monopoly position to deeply embed indicators into various levels and links of discipline construction.From the perspective of faculties,the use of indicators is a violation of academic logic by management logic.The use of“one size fits all”indicator not only weakens their effectiveness,but may also inhibit teachers'endogenous motivation to engage in academic work,leading to goal displacement and disorderly competition.The constructiveness of discipline construction indicators determines that the control logic of indicator governance cannot automatically translate into discipline performance.We need to conduct a comprehensive inventory and reflection on the governance of indicators in the construction of university disciplines,in order to better promote discipline construction and improve the level of discipline development.
