摘 要:柳宗元将《论语》编纂者考定为“曾子之徒”,将《尧曰》首章主旨推定为孔子的“讽道之辞”,将“乘桴浮于海”训释为“复于至道而游息”,体现其《论语》学的三大特色:“以知道为宗”,通经致用,援佛入儒。在中唐特定的社会文化环境中,柳宗元《论语》学具有特别重要的现实意义:首先,从《论语》中挖掘“大公之道”,为打击藩镇势力、重建“大一统”皇权专制政治提供理论支持;其次,援佛入儒,挖掘《论语》心性资源,为儒学复兴指明一条新路;第三,抛弃章句之学,空言解经,标志着“汉学”传统的终结与“宋学”传统的开启。柳宗元《论语》学的理论观点与学术方法都对后世产生了重要影响。LiuZongyuan identified the compiler of Analects as a disciple of Zengzi,attributed the main theme of the opening chapter“Yao Yue”to a cryptic statement by Confucius,and interpreted the phrase“riding on a raft and drifting in the sea”as“returning to the path of ultimate truth to find solace.”These aspects reflect the three major characteristics of his Analects studies:focusing on the pursuit of ultimate truth,integrating classical learning with practical application,and incorporating Buddhist ideas into Confucianism.In the socio-cultural environment of the mid-Tang dynasty,his approach to Analects held significant practical significance.Firstly,he developed the concept of the“great public way”from Analects,which provided theoretical support for countering regional military governors and reconstructed a strong central monarchy.Secondly,he integrated Buddhist concepts into Confucianism by tapping into the inner resources of Analects,charting a new path for the revival of Confucianism.Thirdly,he abandoned the textual analysis approach and advocated a holistic understanding of the classics.His effort marks the end of the“Han learning”tradition and the beginning of the“Song learning”tradition.His theoretical perspectives and scholarly methods in studying Analects had a profound influence on later generations.
