中国政治话语“隐含叙事”的翻译规范分析--以《习近平谈治国理政》(第三卷)为例

摘　　要：以主语隐含/省略句为代表的“隐含叙事”是中国政治话语的典型叙事特点。基于目的语规范的翻译质量评估思路,本研究利用《习近平谈治国理政》(第三卷)及其英译文、美国国情咨文,建设中国政治话语汉英平行/类比复合语料库,重点讨论中国政治话语的“隐含叙事”特点及其翻译策略。数据说明,中国政治话语“隐含叙事”的翻译策略与目的语叙事规范基本相同,同时也存在明显区别。为此,本文提出了中国政治话语翻译叙事策略的具体方案,旨在加强中国政治话语对外翻译的规范性,提高中国政治话语国际表达的可理解性。Represented by subject invisibility or omission,implicit narration(IN)constitutes a typical narrative characteristic in Chinese political discourse(CPD).Taking target conventions as a standard of translation quality assessment,this study focuses on implicit narration in Chinese political discourse and its English translation by constructing a parallel and comparable corpus of Chinese political discourse composed of Xi JinPing:The Governance of China Ill in Chinese and English and The State of the Union Address in the U.S..The corpus data show that despite the overall agreement between the two sides,translation of implicit narration in Chinese political discourse and its target discourse conventions do reveal some remarkable divergence.Therefore,this paper informs relevant suggestions to improve translation of implicit narration in Chinese political discourse and to increase Chinese political discourse's accessibility to target readers.
