摘　　要：大一新生刚入学阶段的大学英语课堂参与情况对于确保其在大学阶段的英语学习收益和个人成长至关重要。然而,之前针对大学英语课堂参与的众多研究虽讨论了课堂参与对于学生的积极影响,却未能关注学生在大学刚入学阶段的这个关键时期。研究采用文献分析法及问卷调查法,调查了某地方财经类高校大一新生的大学英语课堂参与状况。结果显示,不同性别和专业的新生在大学英语课堂参与方面存在显著差异,并受社会文化、学习动机以及学习风格等因素影响。研究进一步讨论了影响地方特色高校大一新生不同专业和性别群体大学英语课堂实际参与状况的课堂环境、文化背景、学习风格等因素,并提出针对性建议,为大学英语教育质量提升提供实证参考以及研究借鉴。Freshman involvement in college English classes at the beginning of the entry year is critical to ensuring academic gains and personal growth.This study adopts literature analysis and questionnaire survey to investigate the involvement of freshmen in college English classes in a local finance and economics university.The results showed that there were significant differences in the involvement of new students of different genders and majors in university English classes,which were influenced by factors such as social culture,learning motivation and learning style.This study further discusses the classroom environment,cultural background,learning style and other factors that affect the actual involvement of freshmen in university English classes of different majors and gender groups in local universities,and puts forward targeted suggestions to provide empirical reference and enlightenment for the improvement of college English education quality.
