摘　　要：《大明律》英译本融严谨的学术研究与精准的译文呈现为一体。译者姜永琳注重学术研究,采用深度翻译策略,通过音译补偿、序号划分、互文指引、语义补足、概念阐释等方式丰富主文本译文,通过副文本提供知识铺垫与学术延伸,实现了多维度翻译中国法律典籍、阐释传统法律文化的功能,凸显出译者希冀还原《大明律》原貌,并借此促进中西方人士跨法系、跨文化交流互鉴的使命感与责任感。译者深而有“度”、研译互促的翻译策略对中国法律典籍的对外译介有着积极的启示。The English version of The Great Ming Code/Da Ming Lücombines rigorous academic research with accurate translation presentation.Jiang Yonglin,the translator,lays emphasis on academic translation and adopts the strategy of thick translation,realizing the function of multi-dimensional translation of Chinese legal classics and interpretation of traditional legal culture by enriching the primary text translation by means of transliteration compensation,serial number division,intertextuality guidance,semantic complement,concept interpretation,etc.and providing the knowledge cushion as well as academic extension through paratexts,which highlights the translator′s desire to restore the original appearance of The Great Ming Code/Da Ming Lüand sense of mission and responsibility of promoting Chinese and Western people to enhance cross-legal-system and cross-cultural exchanges as well as mutual learning.His strategies of appropriate thick translation and mutual promotion of research and translation have positive implications for the translation of Chinese legal classics.
