摘　　要：近代以来,中国人的现代化成为重要的问题。华侨领袖陈嘉庚关于中国人现代化的思想和实践与中国现代化进程具有同构关系,他从自身经历和国际视野出发,提出了现代中国人应具有的主要特质,并从价值观念、行为方式和生活方式3个方面推动中国人现代化。陈嘉庚立足中华传统思想,将西方文明作为中国走向现代的重要借鉴,根据社会现实提出中国人现代化的目标并付诸实践,这对后发型国家在现代化进程中正确处理传统文化与西方文明的关系提供了成功的经验。陈嘉庚在推动人的现代化的过程中,推进了东南亚华人社会的现代转型,更好地实现中华文化的海外传承。Since modern times,the modernization of Chinese people has become an important issue.The thought and practice of overseas Chinese leader Tan Kah-kee has an isomorphic relationship with the process of China's modernization.Starting from his own experience and international vision,he puts forward the main characteristics that modern Chinese should have.He promotes the modernization of the Chinese people from three aspects:values,behavior and lifestyle.Based on Chinese traditional thought,Tan Kah-kee took western civilization as an important reference for China's modernization,put forward the goal of Chinese modernization according to social reality and put it into practice.This provides a successful experience for post developing countries to correctly deal with the relationship with traditional culture and western civilization in the process of modernization.Moreover,in the process of promoting human modernization,Tan Kah-kee promoted the modern transformation of Chinese society in Southeast Asia and better realized the overseas inheritance of Chinese culture.
