摘 要:“续译”能够高质高效促译,但是已有研究多分析翻译学习者的译技变化,较少关注情感因素。本研究基于动态系统理论,通过对比140名翻译学习者多轮“续译”干预前后的英汉互译技巧和外语学习焦虑水平,分析“续译”对译技和外语学习焦虑的影响作用。研究结果显示:低、中、高不同焦虑水平外语学习者的翻译技巧理解和运用能力均得到显著提升;低外语学习焦虑者的焦虑感显著增加,而高焦虑者的焦虑感显著降低。研究证实了“续译”能够有效调节学习者的外语学习焦虑,实现译技和情感之间的良性循环。Although the high efficiency of enhancing learners'translation skills has been well justified in the continuation translation task,scant attention has been paid to learners'affective factors.From the Dynamic Systems Theory perspective,and using a pretest-intervention-posttest design,this study investigated the role of an iterative continuation translation task in the enhancement of translation skills between English and Chinese and decrease of foreign language learning anxiety.The results yielded from 140 translation learners showed significant increase in their translation skill comprehension and production,irrespective of their levels of anxiety.Meanwhile,significant increase in foreign language learning anxiety was found in those with a lower level of anxiety,and significant decrease in anxiety was observed in those with a higher level of anxiety.The study indicates that the translation continuation task can modulate translation learners'foreign language learning anxiety,and form a virtuous circle between translation skills and foreign language learning affections.
