摘　　要：习近平在文化传承发展座谈会上把中华文明的突出特性概括为连续性、创新性、统一性、包容性、和平性。这五点绝非无源之水、无根之木,孔子儒学的价值理念和思想特质,在很大程度上为中华文明突出特性的形成奠定了重要的文化根基。深入理解和把握孔子儒学,将有助于更好学习贯彻习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想,也将有助于加深对中华文明的整体认知,进一步坚定建设中华民族现代文明的文化自觉、文化自信。在担当建设社会主义文化强国、建设中华民族现代文明的新的文化使命中,孔子儒学仍不可缺席。At the symposium on cultural inheritance and development,Xi Jinping summarized the prominent characteristics of Chinese civilization as continuity,innovation,unity,inclusiveness and peacefulness.These five points are well-founded.The values and ideological characteristics of Confucianism have,to a bigger extent,laid an important cultural foundation for the formation of the prominent characteristics of Chinese civilization.An in-depth understanding and grasp of Confucianism will help us better study and implement the spirit of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era.It will also help us deepen the overall understanding of Chinese civilization and further strengthen the cultural consciousness and confidence in building a modern civilization of the Chinese nation.In fulfilling the new cultural mission of building a socialist cultural power and modern civilization of the Chinese nation,Confucianism cannot be absent.
