摘  要:翻译是文本旅行的起点,而翻译研究的“文化转向”正是促进中国文化与世界文化交流互鉴的有效路径。1979年,美国汉学家葛浩文(Howard Goldblatt)的《呼兰河传》英译本出版,在西方学界受到一致好评,继而掀起了国内学界对萧红的研究热潮。囿于中西方不同的诗学观等文化因素,《呼兰河传》的英译过程实际上是译者对原文进行改写的过程。在此过程中,葛浩文充分发挥了译者主体性,使萧红作品实现了由中国文学到世界文学的双向旅行。《呼兰河传》的英文译本是中国文学走向世界的典型范例,为重塑中国文学在世界文学中的版图提供了行之有效的策略。Translation is the starting point of the textual journey,and the“cultural turn”in translation studies is an effective way to promote the exchange and mutual appreciation between Chinese culture and the world culture.In 1979,American sinologist Howard Goldblatt’s English version of Tales of Hulan River was published.It was well received in Western academic circles,which in turn led the trend of Hsiao Hung’s research in domestic academia.Due to different poetics of China and the West,the English version of the novel was actually a process of rewriting the original text by the translator.In this process,Howard Goldblatt gives full play to the translator’s subjectivity,making Hsiao Hung’s works realize a two-way journey between Chinese literature and world literature.The English version is a typical example of Chinese literature going global,providing a proven strategy for reshaping the landscape of Chinese literature on the map of world literature.
