《红楼梦》经典附加疑问句翻译策略研究

摘　　要：文章以《红楼梦》英译本(霍克斯翁婿翻译的霍译本及杨宪益夫妇翻译的杨译本)为例,从出现次数、形式特征、功能效果等方面对两个译本中经典附加疑问句的使用情况进行了对比分析,力求发现两种译本在翻译策略上的诸多不同,进而全方位揭示经典附加疑问句在《红楼梦》译本中的应用规律,以期为文学作品的英译提供一些有益的参考借鉴。The article takes the English translation of“The Dream of the Red Chamber”(Hawkes’and Yang’s translation)as examples to compare and analyze the use of classical additional questions in the two versions from the perspectives of frequency,formal characteristics,and functional effects.The article aims to discover many differences in translation strategies between the two versions,and further comprehensively reveal the application rules of classical tag questions in the translation of“The Dream of the Red Chamber”to provide some useful reference for the English translation of literary works.
