产出性词汇知识和工作记忆容量对英语学习者口语产出流利度的影响

摘　　要：本研究探讨了产出性词汇知识、工作记忆容量对二语口语产出流利度的影响。研究者以口头作文的形式收集了114名中等英语水平学习者的口语产出数据,并从语速、停顿和修复3个维度分析流利度。结果显示:产出性词汇知识与语速、停顿和修复显著相关;工作记忆容量与语速和停顿显著相关,与修复不相关;产出性词汇知识影响工作记忆容量对语速和停顿的制约。研究结果有助于加深对词汇知识和认知因素在口语产出中作用的理解。This study investigates the influence of productive vocabulary knowledge and working memory capacity on L2 oral fluency.114 intermediate⁃level English learners'oral production is collected through oral compositions,and their oral fluency is analyzed in terms of speed,breakdown,and repair.The results show that:1)productive vocabulary knowledge is significantly correlated with speed,breakdown,and repair;2)working memory capacity is significantly correlated with speed and failure,but not with repair;3)the constraints of working memory capacity on speed and breakdown can be mediated by productive vocabulary knowledge.These findings enrich our understanding of the role of vocabulary knowledge and cognitive resources in oral production.
