趋同模式与我国高等教育普及化阶段的质量建设

摘　　要：克拉克·克尔是20世纪美国著名的高等教育思想家和实践家,他提出了普及化阶段既“普遍入学”又“促进优秀”的高等教育趋同模式。我国正处于高等教育普及化初期,面临着质量观念落后、质量成效堪忧和质量保障不足等问题。趋同模式对我国普及化高等教育阶段的质量建设具有如下启示:协调“普遍入学”与“促进优秀”的关系,推动质量效应的稳步提升;重视高等教育系统的分化,推动质量样态的多元发展;完善高等教育多元治理体系,构建多方参与的质量保障体系。Clark Kerr is a famous thinker and practitioner of higher education in American in the 20th century.He put forward the convergence model of higher education which is both"universal admis⁃sion"and"promoting excellence"in the popularization stage.Our country is in the early popularization stage of higher education,facing the problems of backward quality concept,worrying quality effect and insufficient quality guarantee.The convergent model has the following enlightenment to the quality con⁃struction of China's popularization higher education stage:coordinating the relationship between"uni⁃versal admission"and"promote excellent",and promoting the steady improvement of the mass effect;paying attention to the differentiation of higher education system and promoting the diversified develop⁃ment of quality patterns;and improving the multiple governance system of higher education and build⁃ing a quality assurance system with multi-participation.
