摘 要:外语教材不仅是一种工具,更是中华文化传播的重要推力。该文基于《新课标》,采用《外语教材文化分析框架》对2020年沪外教版高中英语教材中的中华文化呈现进行量化统计分析。研究发现,沪外教版高中英语教材中中华文化呈现内容以中华优秀传统文化和社会主义先进文化为主,鲜少呈现革命文化;文化形式多样,文化产品、文化实践、文化人物的呈现多于文化观念和文化社群的呈现;呈现方式上,教材整体注重中华文化语篇呈现和文化理解练习,文化表达及文化思考也较为突出。基于上述发现,该研究针对高中英语如何平衡中华文化内容和优化呈现形式进行讨论,并对教材编写和教师教学提出建议。Foreign language textbooks is not only a tool but also an important impetus for Chinese culture spread.Based on New Curriculum,this study uses Framework for Analyzing the Representation of Cultures in Foreign Textbooks to examine the Chinese cultural representation in the high school English textbooks published in 2020 by Shang hai Foreign Language Education Press(SFLEP).Combining quantitative and qualitative analysis,the study finds that(1) Chinese culture represented in SFLEP textbooks mainly comprises fine traditional Chinese culture,advanced socialist culture and few about revolutionary culture;(2) the textbooks also include a variety of cultural categories,and the representation of cultural products,cultural practices,and cultural perspectives is higher than the representation of cultural persons and cultural communities;(3) as for forms of representation,the textbooks represent more Chinese culture in texts and exercises involving culture comprehension as well as expression focusing on writing,speaking,critical thinking.Based on the findings,discussion on and suggestions for textbook editing and teacher teaching are provided.
