关于“讲故事”的故事:论契诃夫的《大学生》

摘　　要：本文聚焦于契诃夫小说《大学生》对“讲故事”这一核心情境的书写和组织,讨论主人公在叙述中如何融入自身及当下的环境与经验并面向现实中的人,唤醒现在与过去的联结并确认人与人之间的联结,由此理解契诃夫借用福音故事来讲述“人”的故事的创作内涵。其次,本文也通过对小说结构和具体意象的分析,探讨《大学生》开放的起伏式叙事结构、叙述中的不确定性和作品在伦理上的确定性,尝试阐释这个关于“讲故事”的短篇如何作为一种叙述和文学的隐喻,凝聚了契诃夫短篇创作的特征。This paper focuses on“storytelling”in Chekhov's The Student and tries to understand how Chekhov uses the Gospel story to tell a story about“people”.By integrating the current circumstances and his own experience,oriented toward the people whom he meets,Chekhov's hero in his narration of Peter's denial awakens the connection between the present and the past and affirms the connection between people.Then,through an analysis of the structure and specific imagery of the work,the paper discusses The Student's undulating narrative structure and its uncertainty which reflects the characteristics of Chekhov's short story writing.Finally,the paper attempts to interpret how this short story can serve as a metaphor for literature.
