中英服饰文化对比研究——以《唐顿庄园》和20版《花木兰》为例

摘　　要：英剧《唐顿庄园》以1912年至1927年为背景,剧情展现了英王乔治五世统治时期英国贵族及其仆人等级森严的人情世故,跌宕起伏的情节。中国电影20版《花木兰》以南北朝时期为背景,讲述花木兰替父从军,女扮男装,奋勇杀敌,成为一名巾帼英雄的故事。服饰是人类文化的显性特征,现代服饰的民族风格取其精华与其具象征性元素,使其成为推动社会进步的力量。本文以影视作品《唐顿庄园》和《花木兰》中的人物服饰为立足点,剖析中国和英国发展过程中服饰文化的差异及其背后的历史缘由,探讨其所体现的价值意义,希望能给我国服饰设计师以及跨文化交流者在全球化交际中以启示。With King George V’s reign,the British upper aristocracy and its servants’hierarchical human feelings,ups and downs of the plot,are all depicted in the British drama“Downton Abbey”from 1912 to 1927.The Northern and Southern Dynasties are depicted in the Chinese film“Hua Mulan”(20),which tells the story of Hua Mulan,who disguised herself as a man and fought bravely to kill the enemy for her father and became a heroic woman.Costume is the defining aspect of human culture.The national style of modern dress is based on the traditional attire of each nationality,extracting their essence and their symbolic components so they can become the force to advance societal progress.Based on the costumes in the film and television works“Downton Abbey”and“Mulan”,this paper aims to analyze the differences between the costume cultures of China and Britain in the process of development and the historical reasons behind them,and to discover the value and significance they embody,hoping to enlighten the costume designers and cross-cultural communicators in China in global communication.
