麻省理工学院工程领导力教育实践路径探析——基于领导力发展的社会变革模型

摘　　要：工程领导力教育是新一轮科技革命和产业变革背景下卓越工程师培养的重要内容。作为工程教育“现任引领机构”的麻省理工学院(MIT)以支持学生的全面教育为理念指导,观照教育实践中横向与纵向的延伸,统筹布局工程领导力教育系统。在领导力发展的社会变革模型视域下,麻省理工学院工程领导力教育形成了“个体—团队—社区与社会”三维度实践路径,并构建了分层次多样化的工程领导力实践体系。对于我国高校而言,工程领导力教育应立足我国国情和工程教育特点,面向未来澄明工程领导力教育理念,构建“课堂内—课堂外—产业—全球”四维实践体系,同时协同与整合教育资源扩大教育影响力,培养面向未来的卓越工程领军人才。Engineering leadership education has become an important direction for cultivating outstanding engineers in the context of the new round of technological revolution and industrial transformation.As a current leading institution in engineering education,Massachusetts Institute of Technology(MIT)is guided by the concept of supporting holistic education of the student,concerning the horizontal and vertical extensions in educational practices,and coordinating the layout of the engineering leadership education system.From the perspective of social change model of leadership development,a three-dimensional practical pathway encompassing“individual-team-community and society”has been established in MIT,and a hierarchical and diversified practice system of engineering leadership has been constructed.For universities in China,engineering leadership education should be based on the national conditions and characteristics of engineering education,clarify the concept of engineering leadership education for the future,build a four-dimensional practice system featured by“in-classroom-outside-classroom-industry-global”,and collaborate and integrate educational resources to expand educational impact so as to cultivate outstanding engineering leadership talents.
